The family is looking for an experienced, loving, nurturing and professional nanny who will become a valued part of their family and build a strong, long-term relationship with their daughter. An ideal nanny would be reliable, calm, respectful and caring, with a positive attitude, a genuine love for children and a deep understanding of child development. They should be experienced, confident and proactive, with the ability to adapt to the needs of the family and bring creativity to everyday activities. The family values a nanny who is fully present and engaged with their child, prioritising connection and responsiveness to her needs. They would greatly appreciate a nanny who minimises phone use except when necessary for communication with the parents and shares their commitment to a screen-free environment. The ideal candidate will be someone who aligns with these values and can design and implement age-appropriate learning experiences that foster growth, confidence and curiosity without the use of screens.
Responsibilities
Follow the child’s routine. Educational Activities: Plan and implement age-appropriate learning experiences. Fun Outings: Organise engaging outings to museums, libraries, playgrounds, parks, music classes and playgroups. Healthy Cooking: Prepare nutritious meals for their little one. Light household duties during nap times (e.g. tidying toys, baby laundry, unloading dishwasher).
Requirements
Long-Term Commitment: Seeking someone who plans to stay in Sydney for the long term to foster a stable and nurturing bond with their child. Experience & Skills: Studies in Early Childhood Education and prior professional nanny or childcare experience, including experience caring for infants. Excellent communication skills and the ability to create a warm, safe and stimulating environment that supports healthy development.
