This family is seeking a gentle, calm, respectful and experienced nanny to care for their 17-month-old little boy. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the RIE® Approach to parenting, have a deep understanding of child development, and share the family’s values of respect, presence and connection. They are looking for someone reliable, nurturing and professional who can follow their son’s established routines while also bringing warmth and creativity into his day. Keeping all family information confidential is a must, and they would like someone who is comfortable with caring for two children in the future. They would greatly appreciate a nanny who minimises phone use (except for essential communication with the parents), supports their commitment to a screen-free environment, and can design and implement age-appropriate learning experiences that foster curiosity and growth.

Responsibilities

• Follow the child’s routine, including meal and sleep times • Plan and engage in age-appropriate learning experiences and educational outings (e.g. playgrounds, parks, museums) • Prepare healthy meals for the child • Light housework related to the child, including the child’s laundry and ensuring that areas of the home used during the day are cleaned afterwards • Maintain a screen-free environment

Requirements
