Maintaining our high standards, our diligent screening process for all potential nannies includes comprehensive background checks, verifying qualifications and references, and engaging in face-to-face interviews to assess their compatibility with our agency. This guarantees that our agency only consists of dedicated professionals genuinely passionate about Early Childhood Education.
You can be sure that we will only introduce you to the most suitable nannies for your consideration, giving you peace of mind that you’ll make the right decision.
Placement Support
Once you’ve selected your preferred nanny, we put everything in place to get them started. We recommend a two-week trial period, during which we‘re here to provide any assistance you may need, such as
- Extending an offer of employment
- Providing a detailed employment contract
- Assisting you with options such as NannyPay, our recommended service provider for processing your Nanny’s wage, superannuation and tax instalments
We’re dedicated to perfecting the match that makes you, your child and your new Nanny feel like you all belong together. However, on the rare occasion where the match isn’t quite right, rest assured that our two-week replacement policy supports any changes that may need to be made.
The nanny service you need, with a fee structure that’s clear
Our flexible service options mean we can provide you with the nanny support you need, when you need them.
Educare Nannies charge a one-time, non-refundable engagement and search fee of $275, inclusive of GST which is payable upfront. This starts our personalised processes and gets you on your way to securing your new nanny.
Hourly rates are negotiated on behalf of our nannies based on their experience and qualifications. Payment arrangements are discussed between you and your Nanny depending on their preference for making their own tax and super contributions, or wanting to use a service such as NannyPay.
Permanent Nannies (Full-Time and Part-Time)
Bringing in a Permanent Nanny into your home ensures your child receives consistent, personalised care on the days you need them most. Whether you’re returning to work, or need more support at home, your Nanny will become an integral part of your family. Their duties can include:
- supporting your child’s holistic development
- taking them to playdates and other scheduled activities
- school pick-up and drop-off
- the child’s meal preparation
As early childhood professionals, they’re dedicated to the well-being and development of your child. Their RIE Educaring Approach training means they bring the RIE principles into all their interactions.
Our Permanent Full-Time Day Nannies are available 4 to 5 days a week, with a minimum of 8 hours per day. If you need part-time care, our Permanent Part-Time Day Nannies can work 1 to 3 days a week, also with a minimum of 8 hours per day.
Night Nannies
Our Night Nannies are seen as saviours for both parents and newborns. While sleep is very important for a new parent, the needs of a newborn don’t always allow for the kind of rest they really need. Getting nocturnal support allows you to be more present with your child during the day. Get the uninterrupted, restorative sleep you need knowing your baby is with one of our expert nannies.
Educare Nannies are experienced with gentle sleep techniques that aligns with the RIE Educaring Approach, avoiding any type of controlled crying methods. They typically work a minimum of 8 hours per night from 10pm to 6am, with a minimum of two consecutive nights, ensuring restful nights for everyone.
Book in early, ideally during your third trimester and feel ready for your new arrival, knowing you’ve got caring support on your side for when you’ll need it the most.
Casual Nannies
Life comes with ups and downs, and with Educare Nannies, you’ll be able to handle them all with ease. Our Casual Nannies are ready to step in at short notice for all sorts of eventualities, such as:

Being available for a minimum of 4 hours, they make it easy to arrange short-term care, whether for a one-time event or a fixed-term period of up to 2 months.
