• Their son attends daycare, so the nanny’s main focus will be caring for their newborn baby girl, with occasional drop-off and pick-up duties for their little boy. • Must be confident and experienced with newborns. • Driver desired to assist with daycare runs and outings. • The family would greatly appreciate the nanny’s support on the weekend of 13th March 2026 for their wedding day, including overnight care for the children. The right person will be confident in caring for both newborns and young children, with patience, empathy and a positive attitude. A deep understanding of child development is essential, along with the ability to support independence and emotional wellbeing in a kind and respectful way. They value a nanny who is fully present and engaged, minimises phone use (except when coordinating with the parents), and supports a screen-free environment, encouraging curiosity through playful, age-appropriate experiences. Responsibilities
• Follow each child’s natural routine with respect and consistency. • Create age-appropriate, playful learning opportunities guided by gentle parenting. • Organise fun and enriching outings such as trips to museums, libraries, parks, music classes and playgroups. • Prepare healthy and nourishing meals for the children. • Support with light household tasks such as tidying toys, baby laundry and unloading the dishwasher.
Requirements
• Long-term commitment: seeking someone settled in Sydney who can build a stable and secure bond with the children. • Deep understanding of child development and prior hands-on experience in childcare. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to create a safe, nurturing and playful environment. • Driver desired. • Current WWCC, First Aid, CPR Certificate, Police Check and three contactable references.
